This site contain number of protocol message sequences, one of the popular sequences is that of
LTE - end-to-end initial attach. Though the format is HTML, it is generated by a Perl script developed by me, for the purpose of helping me draw such message sequences with no time spent on its formatting and looks.
For example, following text file if fed to the tool generates the message sequence shown next to it:
1|UE-eNB|RRC Connection Setup Complete
1|eNB-MME|S1AP - Initial UE Message
1|MME|table\
MME may trigger authentication, security & ciphering procedures.\
<br>23.401:5.3.2.1
1|eNB-UE|RRC Reconfiguration\
POPUP\
This contain AS configuration for SRB2 and DRBs.<br>\
SRB2 { }<br>\
DRB { }
1|UE=MME|Authentication\
POPUP\
Blah, blah, ....
