Here are updated L2 stack diagrams for UE, Node B, and SRNC for Rel 6. Rel 5 UE stack diagram is available in Radio access layers briefly article.
We mainly looked at HSPA enhancements done to UMTS R99; complete and more details about other enhancements can be found in release (R4, R5, and R6) documents at 3GPP.
